I ended up going the other way around. After my MDD G4 finally went kaput I moved to a PC. I was a Mac man from my Performa 400 with OS 7 running Photoshop 4 up through OS 10.4 and various Mac and Mac Classics before that. I had a great ride, but I looked back at the expenses I had accumulated over the years and almost had a heart attack. 12+ thousand ( not a type-o) of dollars in a little over a decade to maintain the same performance levels over the years…egad.
I leave the Mac world to my employer these days.

That, and why in the world would someone pay over $3,000 for a Sony Laptop with those specs? That’s just plain baffling.
