IE treats “height” the way other browsers treat “min-height”.

In Internet Explorer padding is calculated within an element’s width, but in Firefox the actual visible width of a block (as indicated by its background) is width + padding.

I wonder what percentage of Web designers’ time is spent not designing, but dealing with various bugs and differences in standards interpretations..?

I am feeling nostalgic about the communists and their iron fist of standardization.
